Please describe the project specifications

The owner purchased this boat, which was mechanically sound but had a dilapidated interior, with the intention of restoring it to like-new condition. He requested a complete restoration, aiming for a modernized look with additional enhancements where possible. We worked with him to choose colors, textures, and patterns that would suit the design, and recommended diamond stitching in key areas in order to add some uniqueness to the boat. The restoration included a full interior overhaul with complete reupholstery and replacing most of the seat foam, refurbishing the fiberglass console, installing a new steering wheel, a new stereo system with speakers, upgrading the switch panel and wiring, and installing new marine plywood decking, and AquaWeave woven vinyl flooring to finish the project.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Many of the projects we handle in our area tend to be fairly standard and routine, so we were excited about this one because the owner wanted to make it more unique by changing colors, textures and overall design. He envisioned a complete transformation, including the upholstery, flooring, console and accessories, ensuring the boat was revamped from top to bottom. Seeing the result of such a makeover is always rewarding and the owner was very satisfied with the results.
