Please describe the project specifications

Our client was looking for updated seating on the bridge of his 65’ yacht. Replace the worn fabric that was only 8 years old.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

Worn and cracked fabric that was original to the boat needed updating. A fresh look with the simplicity of white UltraLeather fabric was the request. Use of the existing foam if possible.

What is unique or complex about the project?

We started with tear down which showed we could reuse the foam because of little actual use. The breakdown of the original cover fabric was from uv rays. This enabled us to steam clean the foam keeping the shape while saving the client some money.

What were the results of the project?

Smooth seating once again. The customer was thrilled. We are now re upholstering the helm and caption chairs on the forward bridge.
