Please describe the project specifications

Nanhua County, Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province, is known as the "Kingdom of Wild Mushrooms", with 1021 species of wild mushrooms, including 354 species of edible mushrooms. Nanhua Wild Mushroom Trading Center is the largest wild mushroom industry hub in China, with a total construction area of 43,500 square meters.
The project pioneers the transformation of biological morphology into architectural language. Its design concept, "mushroom caps stacking, cloud canopy shimmering," employs multi-curved, irregular steel structures to support a roof that mimics clustered mushroom growth. From a distance, the complex resembles a "giant mushroom," forming a landmark dialogue with the Mushroom Beacon Hill.
The project adopts a PTFE-ETFE dual-membrane hybrid system with an unfolded area of 15,700 square meters. The trading area is covered with a single layer of PTFE membrane, which has a shading rate of 75% and resists transportation dust. The central atrium features ‌U-value ≤1.1 W/(m²·K) double-layered ETFE cushions‌ that evenly diffuse natural light, reduce air conditioning energy consumption by 30%, and the layer filters UV radiation, preserving mushroom coloration and extending the display cycles. The lighting wells are rainproof and prevent rainwater backflow with a 30° inclination ETFE unit, and the membrane edge is innovatively combined with a 1.5-meter folded-up membrane edge‌ combined with a ‌peripheral drainage gutter‌ to efficiently channel five-month seasonal torrential rains in Central Yunnan with ‌zero rainwater infiltration. Structurally, original "tree-fork columns" were optimized into ‌3D curved column heads‌, precisely connecting 1,842 membrane units to enhance wind resistance.
The project is the world's first wild mushroom-themed membrane structure project, which will be expected to boost the annual output value of wild mushrooms in Nanhua to exceed 10 billion Chinese Yuan (about 1.4 billion USD).
