Please describe the project specifications

Project Description:

The purpose of this project was to create a bold, large-scale activation that merged brand storytelling with high-performance structure architecture. The venue featured a stunning glass-enclosed reception hall, allowing guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape while remaining comfortably indoors. The three-story, 20,000-square-foot structure was designed as an immersive hospitality and entertainment hub — featuring an omakase experience, artist lounges, panoramic viewing decks, and multiple branded engagement zones.

A modular, high-load aluminum system formed the structural backbone, engineered to withstand the region’s intense wind loads and temperature variations while also fulfilling interior fit out and occupancy requirements for the end user. The proprietary Aloyd system, known for its fast installation, high load capacity, and precision leveling was a core design element. A balcony feature was strategically cantilevered to overlook one of the Festival’s stages. This allowed guests to be fully immersed in live performances, blending the structure into the surrounding festival environment and transforming it from a hospitality venue into an active part of the show.

Uniqueness:

What set the Mirage structure apart was its fusion of technical precision and artistic creativity. It pushed the boundaries of what a temporary structure can be — combining experiential design, structural integrity, and rapid deployability. Its bespoke “dust” colored fabric cladding made it seemingly vanish into the desert by day, while programmable lighting transformed it into a glowing landmark at night. More than a venue, it became a statement: a precision-built structure that delivered luxury, utility, and spectacle at one of the world’s most visible cultural events.
