Please describe the project specifications

We worked with a concrete contracting company to provide a solution for their safety and containment issues surrounding boom pipe bursts during concrete pumping. The engineering team designed a backend cover that straps to the boom pipe and is made to expand upon explosion. The covers expansion catches the hot concrete, protecting the workers and equipment nearby.
An advance in the concrete pumping technology used for today’s complex projects has increased the risks to both operators and equipment. Designed to put safety back at the forefront of pumping, this cover protects inspectors, forepersons, and ready-mix drivers. The Python Pump Cover fits on pumps of all shapes and sizes, including line pipe used in high rise applications. The Python Pump Cover absorbs the impact of high-pressure blow-outs to collect and contain slurry spatter or accidental discharge. This product provides operator protection, material containment, and unmatched utility for concrete applications.

We chose to enter this project because of it's fabric expansion technology and the added safety it brings to an entire industry.
