Please describe the project specifications

Eide Industries, Inc. was contracted by Trussworks International to furnish custom fabric panels as part of the exterior facade for a large canopy located in the main courtyard of the Aaron Milken Center in Los Angeles. The main freestanding canopy, built by Trussworks International, measures 128'-0" long x 56'-0" wide x 34'-6" high, and is engineered to withstand wind loads up to 110 MPH.

Eide supplied and installed fabric facades on one hundred fifty-eight (158) pre-fabricated panel frames, covering a total surface area of 8,640 square feet. This project consisted of one hundred twelve (112) panels at 8'-0" x 8'-0" and forty-six (46) panels at 4'-0" x 8'-0". White, flame-retardant Serge Ferrari FT 381 Precontraint mesh fabric was tensioned and attached to each frame utilizing Facid M components to create an alternating shade pattern across the top, bottom, and side elevations of the canopy enhancing both aesthetics and sun protection for the courtyard space.
