The project covers the bleachers called "Grand Main Stand", located in front of the Pit Building, this was an existing building that was completely renovated for the 2015 F1 Race.
What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?
The client asked to cover the bleachers to keep the people safe fron rain and sun light during the events and we need to make the supports from the old building
What is unique or complex about the project?
The project presented the difficulty of reinforcing the structure’s key points with steel cross pieces, and giving it appropriate appearance and aesthetics. The work was carried out in three months, ending just a month before the International Event.
What were the results of the project?
The cover was a total success the spectators were covered and spent a pleasant time during the Formula 1 Grand Prix 2015.
