Please describe the project specifications

This booth was designed to promote the animated Star Trek Prodigy series at New York Comic Con in 2021. The client, Glow Studio, wanted to create an interactive booth that resembled the ship, including a captain’s chair and various digital displays that incorporate a series of completely touchless, gesture-based games. Fabric Images was engaged to develop the structure and execute the graphics application needed to represent a believable spaceship environment that also served as a space where visitors could gather, learn and interact with various content.

What is unique or complex about the project?

This was a project that pushed our team to utilize our various disciplines, including metal engineering and fabrication, woodworking, large format printing, textile finishing, and fabric architecture, all tied together to create a specific customer experience. This project was particularly special because it combined a variety of technical skills with a high level of creative development and challenges.
