Please describe the project specifications
The Client expressed a specific requirement for installing convex awnings at every shop entrance and show window, in their recently constructed Boutique Container Park. These awnings are intended to provide shade & protection against adverse weather conditions. Considering the east-facing location, which experiences heavy rainfall and direct sunlight, it was crucial to meet the client's request for awnings that are both functional and visually pleasing, as the awnings serve as a prominent feature of the container park, contributing to its overall aesthetic appeal.
The Convex Awnings Were fabricated using Galvanized steel frame, Rust oleum hand primed, Automated spray primed, Automated spray painted and then Automated clear coated for a final layer of protection. The paint finish was necessary due to the park's close proximity (300ft) to the sea. The fabric used was vanguard deep red (2926) supplied by Trivantage, which comes with 7-year manufactures warranty.

A total of 31 Awnings were fabricated.
The problems encountered were mostly due to the containers installation surface which was not flush/flat so accurate measurements and frame testing was required for each opening/space.
