Custom waterproof canopy measuring 870 sq. ft. with drop roll curtains using Ferrari 502 and clear vinyl.

What is unique or complex about the project?
The geometry of the canopy had to match the footprint of the patio underneath. This meant introducing compound curves to the design while ensuring proper slope to shed rainwater and avoid water ponding. Since the canopy needed to provide not only shade but waterproof coverage to the patrons below, the canopy needed to tightly follow the outline of the building face and chimney. The client didn’t want to obstruct the patio view, which meant our design of the screens could incorporate cables or tracks. We elected to design a quick fasten connection from the bottom of the screens to the top of the pony wall using stainless steel hardware.
