Please describe the project specifications

The architect wanted see-thru views to the sky and designed the restaurant space with a live olive tree growing in the installation. Our system was selected by the architect and client who wanted open air environment for their guests with the ability to close the canopies to provide complete weather protection when needed.


What is unique or complex about the project?

The solution of our retractable canopies was perfect for this hip upscale West Hollywood restaurant providing both the open air environment as well as the option of closing the canopies for heat or weather protection. Complex in that the pitch of the system was flattened. We produced the powder coated steel structure to blend in with the building and all mechanical components were completely recessed and hidden from view. The client is extremely happy with the finished product.
