Not only a restaurant, but a gathering space for a chic yet comfortable dining experience- Soulmate restaurant’s doors open to a lush open-air dining space adorned with plantings and dining banquettes. The client requested for a marriage of textures to create a warm yet simple space for an intimate ambiance, even with large groups.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Our company has chosen to submit Soulmate to the International Achievement Award for its adaptive use of the retractable canopy system, creating a versatile dining experience. Capturing the charm of the California weather outdoor under the retractable canopy, guests dine under the open air; or during rain, under the closed canopy as it naturally creates an intimate evening glow. The retractable canopy system allows for guests to feel they are in a lush landscape with natural greens growing around them, while enjoying the chef's Mediterranean-Spanish inspired cuisine.
