Please describe the project specifications

Our Solar Powered Expeditionary Tent Light System is a lightweight, easy to deploy structure that is designed and built to be used in austere and expeditionary environments. The fabric used on this structure is our signature solar cell integrated fabric. This means that these tents are capable of generating power for communications, lighting, environmental controls, and electrical devices, independent from the grid. It is a fully functional shelter that has solar fabric, integrated tent, floor, and liner for thermal performance. It is immediately operational in any environment. Its lightweight, flexible design requires minimal manpower to assemble and deploy in a matter of minutes, which is a critical feature for our clients in the military sector.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Its integrated solar power eliminates the need to transport and run heavy, fossil fuel powered generators. This product is a self-supporting fabric covered frame structure that is not only designed to be deployed in austere and expeditionary environments, generate power off the grid, and be fully erected in a matter of minutes, but it also functions as a shelter, typically in military settings.
