Please describe the project specifications

Full upper and lower canvas replacement. This customer wanted a new sexy updated look to his boat. He wanted all rigid polycarbonate glass and he wanted large openings for plenty of airflow when needed.

What is unique or complex about the project?

I really enjoyed this project from start to finish. The customer gave me full freedom to be as creative as I want. I had to modify the upper framework from a 6 bow bimini to a 5 bow bimini. I got creative with the framework and the middle bow is standing straight up vertically. getting the shape right was a challenge because it is a completely different shape from all the other bows. Moving the framework allowed for large open areas on the sides for rigid glass openings to flip up for airflow. I also made sure the window lines flowed with the boat to give it a sleek and flowing updated look. Notice all the fasteners at the bottom of the enclosure are Hidden. They are attached to a separate flap sewn to the inside to make the enclosure a much cleaner look.
