Please describe the project specifications

"Oriental Eden" is an innovative collaborative project between China Jinmao and various levels of government investment companies (such as Urban Investment Group and Gaoxin Investment Group). It draws inspiration from the creative and managerial concepts of the world-class ecological tourism project, the Eden Project in the UK. Utilizing design and construction standards on par with international benchmarks, it aims to create a variety of new ecological and environmentally friendly experiential projects tailored to the characteristics of Qingdao.

The owner's goal is to build a leisure, cultural, and ecological tourism destination that encompasses cultural tourism concept, ecological sightseeing, entertainment experiences, popular science education, seminars, social welfare, and more. Additionally, it will host a variety of festivals and cultural events.

The Qingdao Eden Garden and Extreme Pavilion Tensile Stuctures are located in the modern urban center of Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China. It is a typical construction project.

The graceful curves of the membrane structure's main venue resemble a natural extension, appearing light and fluid, captivating observers. Craftsmanship is evident in every detail, from cleverly designed connections to meticulously selected materials, showcasing exquisite artistry. The transparency of ETFE membranes imbues the building with a sense of weightlessness, presenting a distinctive visual effect that shines during both day and night, attracting people's attention.

The project seamlessly integrates with its surrounding natural environment, appearing as though it's a part of nature, harmonizing with trees, grasslands, and water bodies. Innovative design concepts permeate every aspect of the project, not only pursuing visual appeal but also emphasizing practicality and functionality, providing users with a comfortable experience.

The overall ETFE membrane structure comprises four areas, totaling 931 triangular air cushions, covering an area of nearly 30,000 square meters. The Eden Garden ETFE structure measures 192 meters in length, 135 meters in width, and 55 meters in height, featuring 108 sets of automatic opening windows and 143 sets of self-fusing ETFE air cushions forming an intelligent smoke exhaust system. The complex membrane system, comprised of ETFE air cushions, self-fusing, and inflatable systems, poses a significant challenge for the project. The PTFE membrane structure consists of roof membranes exceeding 2,000 square meters in surface area. The immense scale and scope offer captivating architectural aesthetics.

Material selection considers principles of environmental protection and sustainable development, reducing consumption of natural resources and environmental impact. It meets project functional requirements, providing shading, waterproofing, lighting, and other functions, while offering users a comfortable and convenient experience. It has a positive impact on surrounding communities and urban landscapes, becoming a venue for cultural activities with significant social and cultural value.
Overall, it brings certain economic benefits, contributing to local economic development and enhancing the city's image, while adhering to principles of sustainable development and laying a solid foundation for the future.
