Please describe the project specifications
With each passing year, arctic regions are heating up and becoming more inhabitable. With that said, these conditions still inhospitable and hazardous to human life, and caring for the wounded in these conditions is uniquely demanding. Existing technologies and supporting systems for establishing Expeditionary Medical Unit (EMU) in Arctic conditions are underdeveloped when compared to other theaters of operation
Pvilion has developed a mobile trauma care facility that is ready to receive patients within one hour of an Arctic or Antarctic landing. Referred to as "HEXT ASAP," this self-deployed shelter system integrates commercial cold weather shelter, portable power, industrial automation and rapid-deployable technologies.
What makes this system standout is its rapid self-deploying mechanisms. Pvilion's advanced design reduces the labor, manpower, and time required to erect and dismantle temporary shelters for austere and remote environments.
