Please describe the project specifications

Framed Fabric Façade using Ferrari Soltis, with framework constructed from 5” square aluminum tubing welded into sections and mechanically fastened together. Fabric attaches to framework via Facid aluminum extrusion. In addition, header of façade is a backlit sign measuring 17’ wide x 6’ high x 5” deep with 9’ L returns. Signage is constructed from aluminum framework, white polycarbonate with graphics and internal LED lighting.

The church wanted a solution for their visitors to find their location with signage that was highly visible from the busy road they are located on.
They also had 3 staircase windows that needed shade protection which are on now covered by the tall façade paneled structure.

What is unique or complex about the project?

The sheer size of the fabricated façade structure on the building and the design using a facid system is unique. To install the illuminated header signage, it required mounting to the rooftop. A roofing company had to remove part of the rooftop prior to installation to ensure proper and secure placement of the brackets.

The church members shared many great comments on how the large façade structure enhanced the look of the building. The graphics on the signage are visually appealing and distinctive especially when illuminated at night.
