Please describe the project specifications

At Blossom Rock Park, we installed a functional and visually clean shade structure made up of sixteen 8-inch round steel columns and COMM95 FR shade fabric. The setup covers about 1,053 square feet, with column heights ranging from 8 feet to nearly 13 feet. The layout was already defined by the landscape architect as part of the park’s master plan, and our job was to adjust the connection points and get everything built—fast. Thanks to close coordination across design, fabrication, and installation teams, we finished the project a full week ahead of schedule. The result is a shaded, comfortable area where park visitors can relax and gather.

What made this project stand out wasn’t the structure itself—it was the speed. We were on a very tight deadline, and to meet it, we had to keep every part of the process moving without delay. There was no room for error, and each step—design adjustments, material delivery, installation—had to happen in perfect sync. Finishing early was a proud moment for the team and gave the community access to the space sooner than expected. It was a great example of teamwork and efficiency, and while the design was simple, the story behind it is what makes it memorable.
