Please describe the project specifications

Replacement spray dodger and bimini for a Oceanis 46 yacht. The client had built and installed a small fixed hard top bimini to house solar panels. They requested we modify the existing bimini frames and come up with a suitable attachment method for the bimini to protrude forward from the new hardtop. The Spray Dodger was replaced as per original, but with slight modifications to geometry, clear window placements, and to the ventilation window functionality.


What is unique or complex about the project?

We entered this project as we were really pleased with the final fit and look of both the spray dodger and bimini. The Spray dodger has a fixed zip along the lower edge and relies on all its tension from the 2 side wing corners, leaving no room for adjustment during the final fit. The changes made had a good final impact to the overall look of the project.
