This project was for 10 shade sails using Soltis 86 and 9 HSS steel columns. The shade sails had a span of 65 feet including stainless steel marine grade cable assemblies.

What is unique or complex about the project?
The shade sails were layered with varying elevations, so we needed to ensure each shade sail had proper distance from adjoining shades. Our cable attachment was designed to account for slight movement in the sails without shearing the hardware in the assembly. We designed the shade sails to have symmetrical seams in the fabric so the seams look to be continuous from one shade sail to the next.
