Our clients at Mountain Park Health Center in Glendale, Arizona, had a vision of comprehensive day-long shade at the facility's outdoor playground. Faced with the unique challenge of restricted playground clearances, which prevented the installation of columns within the play area, our team devised attaching 10 durable blue shade sails to the existing steel frame above. This design maximized shade coverage and ensured the play area remained obstruction-free, thereby enhancing both safety and enjoyment for children.

The primary goal was to provide effective sun protection and heat reduction, creating a safer, more comfortable environment. Our approach not only met but exceeded these objectives by cleverly utilizing the existing structure. The vibrant blue sails significantly reduce UV radiation exposure while contributing to lower environmental heat levels, allowing children to utilize the structure even during peak heat of the day.
