Please describe the project specifications
Over 30 MLI’s (Multi-Layer Insulation Blankets) were manufactured in support of the first certification launch of a ULA Vulcan rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This was the first of two flight tests to support the full certification process with the U.S. Space Force. We played a key role in the MLI design, development, testing and production process. Vulcan’s evolutionary design coupled with innovative technology provides one scalable system for all missions, including it’s MLI’s (Multi-Layer Insulation Blankets). Technical production staff that manufactured these MLI Blankets were required to have prestige sewing skills and attention to detail as there were many variations and sizes of MLI's that were produced for this mission. Vulcan will provide higher performance and greater affordability while continuing to deliver unmatched reliability and orbital precision for all it’s customers across the national security, civil and commercial markets. We look forward to supporting many more critical missions and sustaining a strong partnership.
