Please describe the project specifications

Located just meters from the Pacific Ocean, the sales pavilion was conceived not simply as a temporary facility, but as the first architectural experience of the new beachfront development.

The roof combines two complementary membrane systems. At its center, a transparent ETFE section introduces abundant natural daylight, creating a luminous arrival space where visitors immediately experience the warmth and material quality of the timber architecture that will define the future development. On both sides, specialized opaque membranes provide controlled environments for private meetings, presentations, and videoconferences, demonstrating how different membrane properties can respond to contrasting programmatic requirements within a single roof.

The timber structure is reinforced with carefully integrated aluminum profiles that secure both the gray membrane and the central ETFE panel, while stainless-steel reinforcement cables provide stability with minimal visual weight.

Designed with a life beyond its original purpose, the sales pavilion will eventually be repurposed as a welcoming space for future residents, extending the value of the structure and reducing the need for temporary construction.

The result is a lightweight architectural system that brings together transparency and privacy, timber and membrane, natural light and shelter—creating a warm transition between the tropical landscape, the architecture, and the ocean.
