Please describe the project specifications

The project involved replacing the existing outdated windscreen panels with new, larger, and more durable panels for a seamless look and improved protection. Originally, the client had multiple screens per vertical panel, resulting in small gaps or gaps forming in the wind.

These wind screens were installed at Pan Pac Forest Products Ltd, an industrial plant. The screens' functionality is to catch and stop any excess wood chips from flying towards nearby plant equipment and to eliminate any disruption. The screens needed to be designed and installed to ensure a seamless barrier, so we replaced each panel with one large screen, totalling 22 screens spanning over 1000m2.


What is unique or complex about the project?

The uniqueness of the project lay in the massive size and scope of the screens. We utilised GALE Pacific™ Premium Hortshade® (Shade Forest Green) and Recasens Panama 900 to complete this project.

The project met our clients’ needs, and they were extremely pleased with the finished product. They were satisfied with both the aesthetic and functionality.
