Please describe the project specifications

Our client had a potential booking for their Hampton peg and pole marquee with a request for a clear roof by a well known radio host for her upcoming wedding in the Wairarapa. This was to be an event where the media would attend to photograph, so was the perfect opportunity to show off the Hampton in a new light.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Clear roofs on a peg and pole marquee are certainly more of risk as without the structure of a frame it could easily loose its shape. This was mitigated by designing a support structure of discrete PVC strips through the centre and apex of the roof panels giving it more structural support. This still looks great and is in keeping with the Hampton look.
