Please describe the project specifications

Client requested a Shade product for over head sun protection for their Sushi Bar and Cocktail Bar. Due to the aesthetics and culture of the Hotel specifically the night life, it was a necessity that the Shade product be able to retract in order to enjoy the night sky when the weather permits. The Most suitable Shade Product was Lateral Arm Retractable Awnings. The existing Bar structure's were not suitable for the weight of the products and so a engineer had to be brought on board as well as a subcontractor to consult & build a more suitable reinforced structure to accommodate the Awnings.

What is unique or complex about the project?

What led us to enter this project is our strong brand image on island. We were referred to the Hotel manager by other Hoteliers who we have done multiple Retractable Shade & Shelter products for, throughout the island & region. What Set this project apart from others is the Hotel managements demand for superior quality and uniformity, specifically the Fabric which was a special order and our supplier had very little remaining in stock. Also the Civil works concerning the reinforcement of the structure to accommodate the awnings required an engineer which we rarely ever have to subcontract.
