Please describe the project specifications
Following the devastating May 2025 tornado that swept through the St. Louis metropolitan area, Forest Park Golf Course lost its original entrance awning. To restore and enhance the facility's appearance, a new 2,074-square-foot freestanding traditional awning was designed and installed.
The replacement structure not only restored the functionality and visual appeal of the clubhouse entrance but also incorporated an improved design feature: a custom back panel that conceals the roof structure from view, creating a cleaner and more polished architectural presentation.
Despite the challenges posed by storm damage and recovery efforts, the project successfully transformed the facility's exterior, delivering both aesthetic and functional improvements. The new awning provides a welcoming focal point for golfers and visitors while complementing the character of one of St. Louis's most recognized public golf destinations.
The client was extremely pleased with the final result, praising the enhanced appearance, thoughtful design improvements, and overall quality of the completed installation.
