Please describe the project specifications

We installed a motorized Durasol Gennius retractable patio canopy unit that is mounted on eight 4” x 4” posts. The fabric is Ferrari 502 Boulder and the frame and post were painted white. There are 3 units each measuring 10’ wide by 13’ projection and covers a patio seating area of a family owned and operated pick your own orchard.

The orchard owner wanted an outdoor seating patio canopy system that could be opened or closed without much effort. Having additional space that protects customers from harmful UV rays, wind and rain increases revenue. Many patrons visit the Orchard Country Store and Garden Center, Country Restaurant, and children’s activities throughout the year.

The client was very pleased with their newly added “retractable patio canopy” and how easy it is to operate. Customers can stay dry and comfortable in this beautiful addition to the outdoor family gathering area.
