Please describe the project specifications

Dutch Bros Coffee requested a turn-key installation that provided thorough shade coverage over their drive-thru lanes. This store is a high-volume store due to location, so to expedite orders, baristas take coffee orders in the drive-thru lane. Adding valuable shade benefits both the baristas and the consumer. This project consists of three overlapping shade sails supported by 8 square columns that line the drive way leading up to the order window. The company’s signature colors were used for the fabric and columns to match the building.

What is unique or complex about the project?

This shade structure is located at one of the busiest Dutch Bros Coffee shops in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. Not only did the store benefit from a better customer service standpoint, they’ve also improved working conditions by making them safer. In exchange, the customer has contracted us to build several other structures at other locally owned stores.

It was very important to the client that the structure match the building colors and accent the Dutch Bros blue to keep in line with the look of the business. The challenge was finding the accurate color to achieve the desired look which included corporate approved proprietary blend of paint which had to be special ordered. Landscaping was also a factor in which 2 mature trees had to be removed and replaced with younger fresh trees to meet city requirements.
