Dalian Barracuda Bay Professional Football Stadium is located in Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, as the first professional football stadium in Dalian City and the only seaside football field surrounded by the sea on three sides in China.

The roof enclosure system of Dalian Barracuda Bay Professional Football Stadium is PTFE membrane + ETFE cushion. The overall structural form consists of outer ring box truss, cable net structure in the middle with arched curved pipe, and inner ring box frame. Among them, the outer ring and the middle cable net of the box truss are covered with PTFE membranes as the roof enclosure system, and the inner ring box frame uses ETFE cushions as its roof enclosure system. Because the particularity of ETFE is high light transmittance, this part greatly improves the lighting effect in the stadium. The membrane covers about 52,227 square meters, and the design and construction difficulty are in the forefront of the domestic membrane structure.

The design of the Barracuda Bay Football Stadium is inspired by the "waves and conchs" which means “stepping on the waves, ascending spirally to the goal”. The design concept is "dazzling waves". The building façade is set to the color of "ocean blue" and the ceiling is white. The "blue sea and white clouds" and the finish symbolize in the form of sparkling water integrates Dalian's marine culture and football spirit.
