Whether you're checking out the kid's playground or the interactive splash pad at the new revitalized Coachman's Park in Clearwater, FL, you'll find a total of 16 tensile shade structures scattered throughout the park designed and built by our company as part of the redevelopment of the park. The design team and city of Clearwater wanted to provide shade throughout the park and tie to the Nautical/Waterfront theme and fabric look from the nearby Amphitheater. Designed to meet the required high wind speeds, these translucent white PVC Quasar (QS60s) architectural shade structures are each approximately 20' x 20' in size equaling a combined 6,400 sq.ft. and feature a hyperbolic paraboloid shape and a perimeter catenary cable edge. Architectural umbrellas and modulars are tensile fabric structures that are available in a range of shapes and sizes, membrane materials (including PVC and PTFE), as well as collapsible, portable and modular units with color and branding potential. Our tensile fabric umbrellas can be installed on a variety of surfaces, including concrete footings and slabs, timber decks and boardwalks. These fabric canopy structures are easy to transport and arrive to site fully preassembled or in component form for easy erection.
