Project Description:

This unique project involved the design and construction of a 1,600 sq. ft. structure at the 2023 Coachella Music Festival. The structure served as Adidas’ Campus experience activation for the event. A custom manufactured curved tent roof structure with vinyl roofing fabric was encased utilizing a custom aluminum paneling system for cladding. This custom paneling system was required to support the substantial weight of the real-life floral wall and watering system placed around the structure.

Uniqueness:

At the heart of the activation was a large, cube-shaped building completely enveloped in a lush, living wall of flowers. The floral installation featured a stunning gradient of colors, transitioning from bright yellow at the top through shades of pink and red, and ending with deep purples at the bottom.

A standout feature of the activation was the wooden structure attached to one side of the floral cube, designed to resemble the ears of a bunny. This playful element adds a whimsical touch and was a collaboration between Adidas and one of the festival’s headliners.

The Adidas activation at Coachella Music Festival was a vibrant, creative, and engaging installation that effectively combined branding with the festival's lively and artistic environment, creating a unique and memorable experience for festival-goers.
