A Legacy Reimagined: The Complete Transformation of “Blue Wave”. After years of towing family and friends across the lake, a 2008 Supreme V208 ski boat affectionately known as Blue Wave was ready for a new life. The owners turned to our team for a complete transformation — a project that would not only restore the boat’s beauty and function but also celebrate cherished family memories. From Worn to Wow. The first step was removing the old, worn-out carpet that had seen countless summers. In its place, we installed sleek Anchor Grey over Blue DEKit EVA foam flooring across the swim deck, cockpit, and bow — a modern upgrade that’s as stylish as it is comfortable underfoot. The new flooring clean lines and durability gave the entire deck a refreshed, contemporary feel. Next came a fully reskinned bimini top with a new matching boot, as well as a complete interior overhaul. We rebuilt seat bottoms, constructed a new speaker box, and even recovered the dash to create a seamless look throughout. Every detail was designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind. The heart of this project lay in one deeply meaningful design element. The client’s daughter created a custom logo to be engraved into the new Dekit swim deck, inspired by a photo of their late son slalom skiing. Incorporating that image alongside the boat’s family name, Blue Wave, turned the restoration into a tribute — a lasting symbol of the family’s love for the water and the memories made there. To complete the transformation, we fabricated a new Sunbrella cockpit cover that extended over the swim deck. A blue stripe was added to tie in the Blue Wave theme, echoing the design across the bimini and boot — subtle details that tied everything together beautifully. When the project was complete, Blue Wave looked and felt brand new. The refreshed interior, custom details, and flawless finish gave the family a boat that’s ready to create new memories for generations to come. The client was amazed by the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the way every element came together to tell their story.
This project wasn’t just a restoration — it was a reimagining. A perfect blend of skill, precision, and heart that brought a beloved family boat back to life.
Craftsmanship, Customization, and Heart. When the transformation was complete, Blue Wave looked and felt like a brand-new boat — but with its soul intact. The family was thrilled with the result, especially the small personalized details that made the project so special. This restoration wasn’t just about aesthetics or comfort — it was about craftsmanship, innovation, and the emotional connection people have with their boats. The Blue Wave project showcased the full spectrum of what we do: creative problem-solving, precise engineering, and heartfelt customization. Now, the next generation — the kids and grandkids — can continue the family’s tradition of summers on the lake, making new memories aboard a boat that’s as meaningful as it is beautiful
What is unique or complex about the project?
We decided to take on this project because it truly highlights the wide range of services we offer — from custom covers and upholstery to our newly introduced EVA Foam flooring division. While each of these services is part of our daily work, this particular job was special because it incorporated all aspects of our craftsmanship in one complete package. The project included new flooring, a custom cover, a bimini top, and some challenging upholstery work — such as reskinning the driver’s console, building new speaker boxes, and creating inset speaker holders. Instead of the standard black plastic, we elevated the design with custom vinyl finishes, giving the entire interior a more refined, cohesive look. One of the biggest challenges came with the flooring. The client specifically requested a seamless EVA Foam floor with no visible gaps or spacing, which is a common issue with many foam installations. Simply removing the old carpet and laying new flooring wasn’t an option. Once we pulled up the carpet, we discovered large gaps along the edges and compartments underneath. To solve this, we used 1/8" HDPE as a base layer, precisely cut and shaped using our 3D scan technology for foam flooring. This allowed us to create a solid, uniform surface over the entire floor. The precision had to be exact to ensure every gap was filled, preventing any soft spots or voids beneath the new foam flooring. The process required some creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking, but the end result was nothing short of fantastic. The client was thrilled, and we were proud to see every element — from the flooring to the upholstery — come together seamlessly, perfectly representing the quality and innovation we strive for in every project.
