Please describe the project specifications

Argyle Winery, reached out to us, for a custom shade solution due to the sudden heat wave that was hitting Oregon and impacting their business. By repurposing fabric panels from a previous installation, our company had a solution in place within a week. The design features an array of large hexagons utilizing the existing buildings and custom-made bi-pod posts around the perimeter. This approach allowed for a fast solution and resolved their immediate need and illustrated the importance of a shade solution.

The goal, which we met, was to provide an elegant shade structure that elevated the space and helped make the outdoor wine tasting space more comfortable, festive, and visually attractive.

What is unique or complex about the project?

We utilized existing buildings which allowed for minimum use of posts and allowed the design to seamlessly integrate with their environment providing a refined and elegant solution with minimal structural impact on the environment. Our material selection and inventory allowed for a super quick installation timeline which most companies are unable to provide.

This project was unique for us, in the sense that by utilizing existing fabric pieces we could rapidly deploy a solution within a very short timeline that was both elegant and highly functional. It was also a great way to showcase our capabilities and the value of tension fabric over traditional tenting and has inspired other wineries in the area.
