Please describe the project specifications

A funky restaurant known as the Rustic Goat in luscious Anchorage, Alaska known for its comfort food contacted us for 2 retractable pergola cover systems with a corner. This project was a difficult one as it involved a ninety-degree, wrap-around corner, the corner of which could only be covered with fixed fabric.

The customer requested a product that had no visible downspouts or gutters. We designed a custom system so that rain would move internally and exit from small holes at the bottom of the posts/columns and then fall to the ground parking lot below.

The project with the wrap-around fixed fabric corner was completed successfully as per the attached photos and the client was jubilant with the results and said he would recommend our organization to others in Alaska.


What is unique or complex about the project?

The location and uniqueness of the project – the 2nd floor with a wrap-around corner balcony is the main reason we accepted this project. The wrap-around corner had to be meticulously installed. Picture #3 was taken prior to the installation of the aluminum-framed pergolas it allows for a before and after.
