We fabricated and installed shade sails and a hip roof canopy in 4 different areas at the Barstow Marine Corps Base.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

The purpose of this project was to provide shade at a Marine Corps Base located in the desert with harsh weather conditions. Our client requested that our shade sails withstand high winds and handle the harsh environment in that area.

What is unique or complex about the project?

This project was a challenging project with many different configurations, lengths and quantities. This installation was performed at a military property distancing almost 80 miles from our facility so accurate and detailed logistic coordination was mandatory.

What were the results of the project?

We provided unique layered shade sails with two contrasting colors for Yermo Gate. The red hip roof canopy at the gym site delivers a radiant pop of color. The dog kennel and riffle range triangular abstract design provides perfect shade to these areas. All together we were able to provide the Marine Corps Base protection and shade.
