Please describe the project specifications

This is a custom designed motorized retractable roof system that is wind & waterproof, designed to 110 mph wind speeds. Fully retracts in 60 seconds has built in gutter system.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

To enclose a rooftop patio that could be opened on nice days and warm California evenings.

What is unique or complex about the project?

This was build entirely on the roof of the building creating a completely covered restaurant space where there was just a roof before.

What were the results of the project?

This is one of the hottest restaurants / lounges in Los Angeles some say due to the ability to open the roof on warm nights.
