RCS Midway Makeover

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

To create a new, majestic, and unprecedented look to a carnival midway.

What is unique or complex about the project?

The proprietary RCS sparkle was created by Charlene Leavitt, there is no material like it. The accent color was provided by Ferrari, RF welding two fabrics with different chemical make ups was the challenge, lengthening the production time needed. The finials were new to the project and required a custom 10" plate to be installed at the peak of the tent. Custom ratchet straps were designed to wrap the leg and stake to the inside of the frame, hiding the staking feature from sight. Custom leg wraps we created to hid the aluminum color of the tent legs.

What were the results of the project?

A truly majestic midway creating the ambiance of an amusement park. The debut occurred at the Houston Livestock Show where over two million people visited.
