Please describe the project specifications

Project Description

The World Soccer Mexico City project was delivered from contract to execution in less than two months and included approximately 170,000 square feet of new or like-new vinyl roofing, nearly 200,000 square feet of raised decking and floor finishes, and more than 100,000 square feet of flame-retardant ceiling and wall liners. All hospitality structures were installed on raised decking with custom underneath ballasting systems, while approximately 1,850 linear feet of 10-foot-high printed graphic banners were installed using custom-fabricated parapet hardware to brand major camera-facing and public-facing elevations.

Uniqueness

The project required extensive engineering, logistics, and international coordination due to its scale, accelerated schedule, and challenging site conditions. Decks and structures were designed and installed across steeply inclined parking areas originally engineered for gravity water drainage. Inventory was sourced from major U.S. hubs in Miami, New York, and Nevada, requiring intensive transportation, customs, and documentation coordination. Project managers from Europe, South America, Central America, and the United States were brought together to oversee construction quality and schedule execution, all while teams simultaneously supported four other major FIFA projects across the United States.
