Please describe the project specifications

We received an urgent request for some outdoor blinds for a commercial job. The client is trying to finish the outdoor part of the building before inspection deadline.

when the client contact us the project is still under construction, the flooring, posts and roof are still being build. we were told the outdoor blinds were the last to go on. there were only 1 week before the inspection and the blinds were part of the inspection.
This means we need to measure, make and install with a week for 10 blinds.
Final dimension were not confirmed 3 days before the installation due to post position.
The site was on Waiheke island which added more difficulty for measurement and installation.

We pre-cut and welded the clear PVC based on the rough measurements.
We also pre-cut all aluminums and co-ordinated with our powder coating services so we can get a fast turn-around.
once we have got the final measurments, we started cutting and making the blinds at full speed.

end result was:
10 blinds were made in 2 days.
we installed 10 blinds in one day. (including ferry trips)

What is unique or complex about the project?

the difficulty of this job is timeline. From first inquiry to installation finish were with-in a week. This was on top of our busy season (December).
