Please describe the project specifications

We were invited for second time after a few years by a circus show company from the country of Argentina to design and manufacture a circus tent and lobby.

They wanted to give their show tent and entrance tent a new look and asked us to design something respecting their institutional colors: black and yellow. After reviewing all the decorative elements used in their trailers, posters, etc. we made a proposal in renderings and they accepted the design and manufacture of a main tent and a lobby-tent with 7 connection retractable tunnels of different sizes.

What is unique or complex about the project?

With the designed and built tents, we managed to integrate in a very clean and contrasting way the garigraphic forms that they used in many of their decorative elements of their trailers and posters of their circus; in addition to also integrating the decoration of "La flor de Ceibo", traditional and emblematic flower of the country of Argentina.

One of the construction challenges was that the decorations were not placed on the surface, but rather grafted pieces were designed to form a puzzle effect to avoid wrinkles, due to the large size of the pieces that make it up. We integrated a perimeter flap (“Flap around the tents”) to the tents that, in addition to helping visually, it breaks the prevailing and characteristic wind of Argentina. The client was very satisfied, getting the change of image with an innovative model in the circus sector.
