What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

The purpose of FabriTec Structures’ scope on the Allianz Field project was to create a semi-transparent building envelope to enclose the new soccer stadium.

What is unique or complex about the project?

The complex part of the Allianz Field project was manufacturing fabric panels to fit the non-linear shape of the structure and the process of fitting the membrane to the superstructure.

What were the results of the project?

The spectacular Allianz Field project was completed on budget and on time for the team’s home opening game of the 2019 MLS season. The building features a newly developed semi-transparent PTFE membrane from Saint-Gobain that is visually stunning with the LED lighting integrated into the stadium.
