Please describe the project specifications

Two distinct sets of decorative sails and roof structures for outdoor bars at a new island themed water park at Universal Studios Orlando.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

To give the appearance of a shipwrecked boat on a tropical island and also serve as the primary roof structure for weather protection.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Tropical themed art images were created and digitally printed to the fabric on both sides. The images required extensive work to maintain alignment at the seams though the image file creation and the fabrication process.

What were the results of the project?

The sails and covers gave the customer an artistic look while also serving as the primary roof for weather protection on the outdoor bars.
