Please describe the project specifications

This Quicksilver activ 805 sundeck will stay outside in the harsh and sunny weather conditions of Croatia all year long.
Therefore our customer wanted to have an excellent UV-protection for the whole boat down to the waterline including the outboard motor.
However they also wanted to be able to get into the covered boat for checking the battery while not having to take the whole cover off.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Besides protecting the whole boat the full cover has to stand trailering on the german Autobahn at a speed of 100 km/h.
Especially during winter time Croatia can face some serious storms where the wind speed can exceed even 150 km/h, so the whole cover must fit like a gloove.
When fetching their boat we advised our customers to tow the cover down to the trailer additionally however they decided against our better judgement and trailered the boat to Croatia. No problems occured since the sewn-in webbing runs directly below the chine, it was enough to pull the full cover downards and additional straps were not needed.
Due to the zipper at the bathing platform for easy entrance we had to make a separate cover for the outboard motor that can be zipped on the main cover.
The main cover uses two ratchets (one on each side) and Stayput bungees at the bathing platform.
