Please describe the project specifications

The Longines Global Championship Tour wanted to add New York City to its list of iconic cities that hosted their competition. To make this project a reality, temporary infrastructure was needed to service the event's Operations, Competition and Hospitality segments while maintaining the level of detail required for such a prestigious event.

What is unique or complex about the project?

This project was unique in many ways. LGCT traditionally competes in venues that are easily serviced. The venue for this iteration, Governor's Island, is notorious for stretching the limits of event production. Restricted to Ferry Access, shuttling gear, heavy equipment and personnel is a song and dance that requires substantial levels of planning.

The kit for this project included multiple hospitality structures, a Multi-Level broadcast space, Horse Quarantine areas, and multiple operational support structures. Our scope also included finishes such as custom cladding, branding, carpeting and parapet valances.

With all of the complications encountered with this challenging venue, the project was ultimately completed successfully.
