Please describe the project specifications
The GMHBA Stadium – Stage 5 project revolved around the design, fabrication, and installation of 17 PTFE roof infills, measuring 1,417m2, meticulously crafted to maintain the stadium's architectural integrity and visual coherence.
Each PTFE roof infill was carefully tailored to align seamlessly with the existing roofing structure, preserving design continuity from prior construction phases. With dimensions calculated to ensure a perfect fit, these infills not only enhance the stadium's aesthetic appeal but also contribute to providing weather protection to patrons below.
Known for its exceptional durability and weather resistance, PTFE ensures longevity and performance even in the most challenging environmental conditions. By incorporating PTFE into the design, we have provided our client with a solution that not only meets their immediate needs but also promises long-term reliability and low maintenance requirements.
Beyond technical specifications, our approach to this project was guided by a commitment to understand and fulfil our client's objectives. We recognised the significance of maintaining design continuity throughout the stadium roofing while prioritising factors such as durability and weather resistance. These considerations informed every decision, from material selection to installation methodology, ensuring that our final deliverables exceeded expectations in both form and function.
