Please describe the project specifications

Gulf Coast State College job was a blast. We used a 8" steel post for all the center connections and had to use a crane to install it. The outer connection are hooked to steel beam and wall brackets. The layering of the sails provide amazing shade. The students love it!

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

To provide shade for an outdoor study and eating area for the students during breaks

What is unique or complex about the project?

The area or pit that the center post went in is crediting all the past members that have been important to the college and donated over the years

What were the results of the project?

Provided a unique shade for an area that would have never been used for anything other than a pass through for students. It adds character to this area and is defiantly a show piece.
